Meet the Team
Ori Wasserburg, MSW, LICSW
Ori (he/they) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota. They work with individuals, couples, and families. They have a particular specialty in working with queer and trans teenagers. Ori knows the loneliness and harm that can come from feeling isolated and believes that we all deserve support from people who affirm our identities. They have a particular interest in somatic (body-based) tools that can help people metabolize and discharge stress and trauma, and feel more connected to themselves and the world around them.
Ori sees his role as supporting people in reconnecting with and continuing to build on their strengths, while also working to identify the broader systems causing harm. He brings compassion, curiosity, and humor into the therapy space and takes it as a deep honor to be let into a person's life.
Ori spends lots of time walking their dog and taking him to play with his many dog friends. They also love swimming in lakes, listening to audiobooks, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. They are a talented whistler and can often be found whistling a random assortment of songs
Ori’s Trainings and Certifications: Somatic Experience Beginning Levels I & II, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy certification (C-DBT), Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS)
